CAMPING PARADISE!
Who is ready to go CAMPING???
Camping Days are right around the corner!
I can smell the wonderful odor of the campfire and the chicken roasting!
I can see myself already...
fishing along the stream... coming back to camp and relaxing in the hammock!
Ahhh...Summer is right around the corner!
I just completed the painting below of my summer camp dream!
My "Camping Paradise"scene however,
is filled with commotion!
The campers decided to take a quick walk before dinner
and left their camp EMPTY!
The raccoons decided first to
"Strike while the Iron is Hot"!
Yes! You can see one raccoon sitting at the picnic table with his
Grand Prize!
The Trout of the DAY!
The other raccoons watched the entire capture unfold and are joining the FUN!
A cub bear cannot stand to smell the Chicken Roasting, Baked Potatoes and Mushrooms any longer!
He climbs down the tree to play "Capture the Chicken"!
The Chipmunks and Squirrels are anxious to join in the fun and eye all those
GREAT Marshmallows!
Mr. Rabbit checks out one of the canvas bags while the Stellar Jays keep watch!
Who will get the last trout cooking on the Coleman Stove?
Will they save one?
A small mouse (my logo is back) is painting the painting nearby.

Paintings like these are a PURE JOY for me to paint!
The ideas for detail are endless!
Don't you love collecting the old "Vintage Camp" items today?
Bamboo fishing poles, nets, baskets, stoves, lanterns, camping books, pickle crocks,
and fishing flies just to name a few!
A "Happiness" within me radiates as I paint!
Probably because I have so many treasured camping and fishing moments
from my entire life!

I Love the photo below of my son Easton
who is now an Executive Chef in San Francisco...
He cooked his Mother the perfect Marshmallow!
Maybe this is the day his career started!
Yes!
Camping has been and always will be a BIG part of my life and memories!
