Christmas in Oregon...........................

CHRISTMAS in OREGON!
Happy Thursday Everyone!
Look what original painting just came back on the Art Market!
"Christmas in Oregon"
I painted the painting in 1989.
The image depicts my Victorian living room in Crook County.
I restored a quaint Victorian Home from 1984 ~ 1989.
The home was originally owned by Judge Bowman for over 60 years.
The "Bowman Dam" and the "Bowman Museum" were named after him.
Judge Bowman's contributions to Crook County were enormous. He assisted developing the first irrigation systems in the Central Oregon region and ran a financial company which now houses the
 "Bowman Museum".
It took three years to restore the house. The house ended up being one of many that I built or remolded.
A favorite passion of mine.
If you look closely at all the pictures you can see minute details.
The painting is being sold with the original gold frame and measures
32" X 42".
The painting has sold over 12,000 prints nationwide.
I am representing my client on the sale of the painting.
I hope we can find a very Happy New Home.

The houses on the mantel are representations of homes throughout the State of Oregon that are on the National Historic Trust.
For over 10 years I worked directly with the Oregon Historic Trust and personally wrote seven National Register Trust applications for Crook County.
Along with several committees Crook County accomplished placing a total of nine buildings on the trust. The only exception...sadly the
 Crook County Courthouse.
The completed application still sits in a box in my storage unit.
The Crook County Court repeatedly turned it down during the 80's.
If someone would like to try again...please let me know.

Can you name all the buildings above throughout Oregon?

A little puppy sleeps in front of the fireplace.
