Life at 84... ❤️❤️
Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I want to share this photograph of my incredible parents William and Kay Lake. The photo represents what a healthy lifestyle, a world of creativity, and "true" love looks like at age 84❤️❤️
My parents met in fourth grade and have been together ever since. You do the math! I have been very fortunate to have been blessed with the most remarkable parents. We talk everyday ..no matter where I am at 5:00pm. I treasure each call. If you can give your folks a call today...you don't need a reason...
just do it! See you soon Mom and Dad and have a great afternoon!

Welcome Spring!
I took my morning walk yesterday and it was such a joy to hear the Canadian Geese calling through the canyon below. The chickadees, flickers, and woodpeckers were calling from all directions welcoming the spring. Finally!
What a winter! I am sure it will be one I remember for years to come.
The snow is melting and the run off from the top of the mountain is pretty heavy. The run off is providing the first signs of green plants again. Small streams are everywhere.
Wildlife is slowly coming back. I saw my second wolf in Oregon on the back ridge of the property last week. He was so beautiful. He was quite large and had a rich black fur. I heard they found him and he now has a radio collar to track him.
My cabin house is all decorated for "Easter Guests" arriving for the weekend. I have included a few photos! I hope you all enjoy the Easter Holiday and Spring.

Planning Springtime Family Fun?
Finally after a very long winter...."Spring" is in the air!
That being said however..... I woke to another three inches of fresh snow this morning!
The snow "officials" said last week that we received 109 inches of snow thus far. The highest amount since 2006! Of course it would arrive the year I select to live on top of a mountain😳
The month of March finds me in the studio, and working on spring and summer planning. I have several travel adventures and shows coming up. I am sure all of you are also busy planning your summer travels, family reunions, company picnics and class reunions.
The "Celebrating Oregon" and "Celebrating Washington" stores have a wide assortment of gifts that you can personalize with your company logo, family reunion name or graduating class dates.
We also provide you with quantity discounts. Let me know what your needs are and we will be happy to work with you.
Have a Great Monday😊🎨🎨🎨

Hi Everyone!
What a winter experience I am having.
Most of you know I have been living in the wilderness of Eastern Oregon for the past year.
My cabin is located close to 5000++ feet.
The snows here have been non stop now for several months.
There is approximately five feet of snow on the ground throughout the woods.
I relocated here to work on several art projects ..the main one:
"The History of the National Forest Service".
The collection is progressing and I hope to complete it in late spring.

Living here has provided my imagination to explore and create.
I have been totally fascinated by the snow here. The shadows and unusual colors that appear are beautiful.
I decided to create a collection of my snow photographs for you to enjoy.
Just CLICK on the left of this post on the Fine Art America Store and the snow gallery is there.
I don't think I will ever mind the snow again!
Let me know what you think of the "Shapes of Snow" Collection.
Have a Wonderful Snowy Weekend!
