 Introducing Liberty's Tea Time Delight!' —a spirited celebration of America's 250th birthday, painted with acrylics and brimming with patriotic charm. This intimate still life centers around a richly detailed blue-and-white "Liberty" Staffordshire tea set, reminiscent of the historic pieces produced between 1975 and 1981 for the Bicentennial. It rests atop a pristine white lace cloth, embroidered delicately with the dates"1776," "AMERICA," and "2026," weaving together stories of past and present in a single frame.On the table, you'll find a teapot, a large pitcher brimming with vibrant red roses, and a plate holding a slice of tea cake dotted with juicy blueberries and cherries-each element carefully chosen to evoke warmth and festivity. The teacup overflows with cherry tea, inviting the viewer to pause and savor a moment frozen in time.

But the real mischief makers here are the three Mountain Bluebirds perched playfully on the teapot and sugar bowl. Their soft feathers and lively eyes reveal their delight as they sneak cherries and liberate tiny American flags from delicate tea biscuits, as if declaring their own jubilant independence.Through the window, the night sky bursts into a kaleidoscope of fireworks, surrounding the Statue of Liberty standing tall and proud in the shimmering waters—a beacon of freedom and celebration. This backdrop ties the delicate still life to a broader narrative of heritage and hope. Creating "Liberty's Tea Time Delight!" was a true joy, born from a deep appreciation for America's history and the festive spirit of the Fourth of July 2026. I wanted to blend familiar symbols with vibrant textures and colors to invite viewers into a tactile, joyful experience. Every brushstroke was an exercise in balancing intricate detail with vibrant life. capturing both the solemnity of a nation's journey and the lighthearted delight of a summer celebration

 As I worked. I thought about the ways history lives in everyday objects and moments-the patina on a treasured tea set, the softness of lace, the sweet tang of cherries, and the flight of bluebirds. This piece is not just a still life; it's a conversation across time, inviting you to savor heritage while reveling in today's festivities.
