| The High Prairie Don't you just Love Fall? I know I sound like Meg Ryan in the movie "You've Got Mail!" But it is true! The fall season this year has been fantastic! The colors have been so intense and the beauty simply everywhere! I have been photographing all week again and the vistas have been amazing! The weather has been nice and cool so a fire in the fireplace is now a daily chore here on the mountain. I don't mind...a fire just adds to the warmth of my cabin. I have lots of apples from my recent trip to Kimberley, Oregon. If you have never been to this hidden oasis in Eastern Oregon you should! Yesterday I made up some apple filled baked biscuits! YUM! The cabin smelled Grand! |

| Over size Apple Cookie Cutter! Love this cutter...4" by 5"! Cut a top and bottom for each biscuit! |

| Apple Mix Fill with your apple mix of brown sugar, lemon, pear,butter and lots and lots of cinnamon! Cover each with their Apple Tops...fork the edges. Top with a little melted butter. Bake 20 minutes....at this elevation it took 30 minutes! Everything seems to take another 10 minutes to cook here! |
Here you go....an Apple Biscuit! Top with Ice Cream, Whipped Cream or your Choice!
