Welcome Everyone to my Jennifer Lake Art Blog. I hope you will enjoy following the stories

about my art career, life and thoughts.  I have a wide variety of interests and enjoy exploring new ideas and places.

My blog will cover my life as an artist and will include my many interests from decorating, cooking, gardening, collecting, and sewing, just to name a few.

I have found throughout my life, that my curiosity about so many things have contributed to so much of my art design.

I love the research, exploring and the designing of a series of paintings. Some series can take up to two years of research before I even pick up a brush.  The detail of the paintings comes from hours of layouts, finding the correct way to tell the story within the painting.  These minute details are laid out on many pieces of tissue sometimes overlapping each other before the final layout is complete.

I look forward to hearing from you all and sharing my life with you.
